About
I have been in libraries for 26 years in Louisiana. This is my first position in Florida. My experiences include working part time, branch management, administrator, library consultant for the Louisiana State Library and library director. I have done most things in libraries from plunging toilets to construction and opening of new buildings. I have even dressed up in character costumes and led children in making animal noises. Being a librarian is not just my job or career but who I am, my calling. Public libraries level the field in our society in many ways, they provide access to information and a free exchange of ideas.
