Kristin Heifner » NEFLIN Connect

Kristin Heifner is a User Experience Librarian at Florida Institute of Technology. She runs the library’s CraftLab a makerspace area focused on crafting assisting students, faculty, and staff with a variety of projects including creating items to market for student organizations. Kristin is the administrator of Florida Tech’s Institutional Repository and assists graduate students with formatting issues on their theses. She is also the liaison to Mathematics and STEM Education which includes instruction and one-on-one assistance to members of these departments.

Kristin has prior experience managing staff of both a circulation department at an academic library and a reference department in a public library. Public library experience including programming for both adult and young adult audiences.
