About
I am a new professional and received my M.S. LIS with an Archives Management concentration from Simmons University in Boston, MA in 2025. I am currently completing my M.A. in History from the same institution. I received a B.A. in History of Art and B.A. in History from the University of Florida in 2020.
My historical research explores issues of nationalism and xenophobia as expressed through American syndication cartoons, comic strips, and superhero comic books published between the Spanish-American War and World War II. I love working with pop cultural collections. For my M.S. LIS, I completed an independent study that explored methodologies and issues related to comic book cataloging in archival institutions.
